PES 2008 Focus: Running Animations
I have been spending a great deal of time playing the game since the release on Friday and there is something that is bugging me about the running animations in the game. To me they look very similar to something I had seen before growing up in the early 90’s. Then it struck me that it was inspired by the popular American television series ‘Baywatch‘ - According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Baywatch is the most watched TV show in the world of all time, with over 1.1 billion viewers.
Anyways, moving on to what I want to show you, here is a video which I made showing off the running animations.
It’s a tad disappointing to see many of the star players having the same running animations as each other, but rather than just including the individual stats, I would have liked to have seen unique running animations for star players implemented in the game. I don’t think it would be that hard considering games developers are now using next-gen consoles for development and the increased size of storage media becoming readily available.
