A HUGE thanks to the guys over at Videogamezone.de for the news on the first video of PES 2008 on DS! Online editor of the site David Martin sent me an excitable email filled with '1ST video!' and 'Loads of pics!' all over the place. To me, that screams 'Exclusive!' ;). As always, hit the jump for the good stuff!

...No podcast this weekend :(
Due to technical problems (hint: recording software wont work!) this weekends returning podcast series has been delayed. Don't fret though, we will be making the effort to get it out mid-week for all the fans who miss me and Suff getting over excited on the mic.
Thanks for you patience.

So we're in 2008, the year where we will get another Pro Evo and Winning Eleven game. But will it be another disappointment?
Not if you believe good old Seabass. With the year only being a week and a half old he has reiterated that PES 2009 will mark a new beginning in the nextgen era. Talking to industry insiders, and in the latest OPM, its clear what Konami's intent is.

...BUT AT WHAT PRICE?
Some welcome news for Konami and their fans as, not since its initial launch, PES 2008 broke back into the all formats charts. Coming in at no. 6, its a surprising resurgence from the title that has been blasted both by fans and critics alike.
Perhaps its not so surprising when you look at the way retailers have been aggressively pricing the title on all formats.
