CVG today released an article on their website following an interview that PSM3 conducted with the man himself. In the article he claims that the team were not happy with PES 2008 and even contemplated delaying it, however they couldn't. He also explains how he is going back to the crawing board to start from scratch with PES 2009. Make sure to read the article lads!

I'm sure many a fan in the eastern regions of the world are rejoicing as Winning Eleven 2008 hit stores across the region today. Konami themselves have been hard at work with major updates to their japanese site the day before the release. The W.E.N.B. Team will have some thoughts on the Japanese version coming a little later.

Special thanks to DEUSIGN The man behind the Xbox 360 patch for PES 2008 has just released another video showing the game running on the 360 for all the doubters out there. Alot has been said about the patch being a hoax and being done on the PC. Hit the download link and check it out for yourself, then join the discussion in the forums. If it wasn't illegal the W.E.N.B. Team would be all over it, but we're good boys!

The 19th was supposed to be a big day for PES fans. Unfortunately there was no sign of the rumoured patch for PES 2008, not on Xbox Live or the Playstation Network. Our Konami contact was right and from the sounds of it, this patch might be a little while longer.

All the talk around the game these days seems to be about the patches from Konami to rectify Online and Frame-rate problems with PES 2008. Alot has been said in the last 7 days and i'm sure many a fan are left a little confused. We wanted to address many points with regards to rumours and suggested dates.
