Breaking news our brothers over at PC Action have just translated an article from Konami Europe headquarters talking about PES 2008. Special thanks to Lukasz and the team for translating for all our viewers.
"We as a company can say: we have released the best possible game at that point of time, with all the limitations, which exist during the development of a game. Furthermore you have to consider the quantity of the developing team, the time and so on."

Thanks to Tony Ziani. Rumours coming from Germany (PS3NEWS.de) today suggest that PES will return to being a Playstation exclusive. Suggestions are that the Winning Eleven production team are struggling to cope with multiplatform production and will revert to the old format of producing primarily for the Playstation family.

As mentioned in the forums, Konami have today released version 1.10 of their patches aimed at rectifying the slowdown/frame-rate problems that have plagued the PS3 release since launch. To be able to use this patch your PS3 must be connected to the internet and you will get a prompt to download as soon as the game is detected or launched. The patch weighs in at 130mb and reports already claim improved replays and better frame-rates in game.

This moment you have all been waiting for is finally here! The launch of Beatts' W.E.N.B. Option File v1.0 for the PS3. Its been a long time coming but we wanted to make sure that he kits looked perfect, or as near to perfect as possible give the tools at our disposal. The man himself has been working extra shifts to get this done and make it as realistic as can be.

Many a fans have been counting the days until the release of the Japanes version of PES, Winning Eleven 2008. Unfortunately it's not that different to PES 2008 and still sufferes from the same problems. Much was said towards the end of the week in the gaming media on sites from CVG to Kotaku, but most of its just to fill pages and nothing straight from the source. On the other hand e-mails have come in the the big question, where is the W.E.N.B. Option File?

The W.E.N.B. Option File, such a beautiful thing it really brings joy to my eyes. It's almost out, no seriously because we now feel its a finished product! But here's a few shots I just took a few moments ago. Sorry about the quality, I had to use my phone as I was dashing out of the house. Will try and get some better one uploaded later on. I'm off to record our podcast for this weekend before I go and hit the town.
