In what seems like a week of tragedy for our game, the weekend say the passing away of another footballer who collapsed during a game. Sevilla's Antonio Puerta, who had just become a Spanish international and a life-long Sevilla fan collapsed during his side's La Liga season opener.Medics prevented him from swallowing his tongue whilst on the field, but he collapsed again after going off and was given cardiac resuscitation before being taken to hospital. ...

I received confirmation today of information that I had known about for a few days now. It is disappointing for the fans but something I am sure will be rectified next season. PES 2008 will only play as 1 vs. 1 online. Although most fans were hoping for at least a 2 vs. 2 online mode, unfortunately we will probably have to wait until next year for that feature. EA Sports is flaunting FIFA '08's massive online play capabilities that are sure to make it a hit but I believe that Konami will get it right for next ...

Bench players have been huge these last couple of days especially since some of the starting line-ups on the demo had plonkers in them! Argentina and Portugal here we come.
